Stone Grindz Chocolate ("we," "us," "our") is a small chocolate maker in Arizona. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit stonegrindz.com, shop with us, sign up for our emails or texts, or pick up an order at a farmers market, and what we do with it. The short version: we use your information to make and send your chocolate and to talk to you, and we never sell it.

What we collect

• Things you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, order details, and anything you write to us (like a gift note or an email).
• Payment details. Payments are handled by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
• Things collected automatically. Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to keep your bag working, remember your preferences, and understand how people use the site. This can include your device and browser type, IP address, general location, pages you view, and how you got here.
• Reviews. If you leave a product review, we collect your review, rating and the name you choose to show.

How we use it

• To take, make, ship and deliver your order, and to set up farmers market pickup.
• To answer your questions and fix any problem with an order.
• To send you emails or texts you've signed up for, like our Thursday release news and welcome offers.
• To keep the site working, secure and free of fraud, and to improve it.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

Text messages (SMS)

• If you sign up for our texts, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Stone Grindz Chocolate at the number you give us. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
• Message frequency varies (usually about one a week). Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also email us.
• We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We only share it with the service that sends our texts for us (Omnisend) so it can deliver them.

Emails

If you sign up for our emails, we'll send you news about new releases and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run our shop, and only so they can do that job for us:

• Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments.
• Omnisend, which sends our emails and texts.
• Zapiet, which handles farmers market pickup.
• Judge.me, which collects and shows product reviews.
• Shipping carriers (like USPS), so your box gets to you.
• Analytics and advertising partners (such as Google and Meta), which may use cookies to help us understand our site traffic and show our ads to people who might like them.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or our customers, or if our business is ever sold or reorganized. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, like your bag and checkout, may not work without them. Where a cookie banner is shown, you can use it to turn off non-essential cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of certain uses (including targeted advertising). To make a request, email us at info@stonegrindz.com. We'll confirm who you are before acting on it, and we won't treat you differently for asking.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Keeping it safe

We use trusted services and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfect, so we can't promise absolute security, but we take it seriously.

Kids

Our site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
